What is a zine?
Zine is a broad term used to describe a project that is a collection of artworks, usually centered around a theme.
What format will this zine be in?
This zine is going to be a digital card deck that may be printed off by those who purchase it.
Will this zine feature all the cards, or just the Major Arcana?
This zine will only feature the Major Arcana; however, if there is sufficient interest, we may do a second round of publishing that will feature the full deck!
Is this zine for profit or for charity?
For profit!
What is the age requirement to participate?
You must be 18 years or older to apply to this zine.
How many card artists will this zine accept?
22, including mod contributors. In addition to this number, there will also be merch artists and someone who will design the box.
Will this zine accept writers?
This zine will accept 2 writers; one for writing card information and instructions, and one for writing complementary poems.
How will contributors be compensated?
Contributor compensation will depend on how much profit is made. Contributors will, at the very least, receive a copy of the deck.
How will assigning characters and cards work?
Each Major Arcana card has been assigned a character, object, or symbol. You can see the list here. When artists apply to the zine, they will select which cards they would most like to do. The mods will then assign cards based on these selections.
